The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree supports River Place Elementary families who need extra help around the holidays.

Each ornament represents one child and includes their age, clothing and shoe sizes, and interests. By selecting an ornament, you commit to shopping for that child. Gifts may include new clothes, shoes, an age-appropriate book, toys, or other items suited to their interests.

Participate on your own or team up with friends, neighbors, scout troops, or sports teams to shop together!

How to Give

Place all gifts for your child in one bag and return it under the Giving Tree. Attach the ornament or tag so gifts reach the correct child. Each tag is numbered to protect the family’s privacy. Our school counselor will add additional items before gifts are distributed.

Another Way to Help

We also welcome gift cards in any amount to H-E-B, Target, or nearby restaurants to include with the gifts.

The Giving Tree typically begins after Thanksgiving Break. More information is coming soon!
